FOSSA is completely free, open-source software. There are no paid plans, no Teams subscriptions, no enterprise paywalls, and no selling. Every feature is unlocked and available to every developer and team forever.
Zero platform fees, zero license keys. FOSSA runs entirely on your own infrastructure via Docker. You only connect your own API key (BYOK) for whichever LLM provider you choose to use.

Everything is Included

Every capability in FOSSA is 100% free and unlimited:

Unlimited Autonomous Reviews

Fossy inspects diffs, analyzes logic, and posts actionable inline comments across all your repositories with no PR quotas or monthly caps.

Unlimited Team Members

No per-seat pricing or user limits. Add your entire engineering team and assign organization roles without restrictions.

Unlimited Fossy Rules

Define custom coding rules, team conventions, and review directives globally, per repository, or per directory with full inheritance.

Cockpit Analytics Hub

Full access to developer turnaround time, PR cycle time, lead time breakdown, and code health telemetry out of the box.

Universal Git Providers

First-party integration for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure Repos, and Forgejo with zero extra configuration or add-on costs.

Fossa Terminal CLI

Run automated pre-commit checks, review uncommitted diffs, and inspect rules directly from your terminal (fossa review).

True BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

FOSSA does not sell LLM tokens or charge markups. FOSSA is pure open-source software that communicates directly with your chosen AI provider using your own credentials:
  • No Markups: FOSSA never adds margins or hidden fees on top of model API calls.
  • Data Sovereignty: Your code and prompts travel directly between your self-hosted instance and your chosen model provider. No 3rd-party SaaS intercepts your source code.
  • Model Flexibility: Switch between frontier models (Claude 3.7 Sonnet, GPT-4o) and cost-efficient models (Gemini 2.5 Flash, DeepSeek R1) per repository at any time.
See the BYOK Setup Guide for step-by-step instructions on connecting providers.
